      BrianOmen Honestly, the passing of the dogs and cat I've had hit me harder than any persons death in my life. These pets are called animals.....I think humanity are the real animals. I have much more faith and trust in actual animals than humans. My condolences.

I've had relatives pass but we moved away from them when I was about 18 months old so I never really got to know them all that much, and we see them even less in recent years, only usually when someone dies or gets married :/ But this... I spent every day with that cat and she slept on my bed when I would watch tv at night by myself, or on the floor in my studio room when I'm in there, there's just so much to get used to now with her gone and the house feels too empty.

        Every day is SLIGHTLY easier, but we said goodbye to her a week before Xmas so I haven't been able to enjoy xmas or the new year, it's going to take some time..  less

        BrianOmen That is real harsh.....you gave her a great life though and she will always be with you in spirit. She can never be replaced however maybe in time you can adopt another fuzzy companion. I know I always have to have at least one in the house.

Although I understand why, I personally think it's an easy way out and it dishonors her memory too in my opinion, not saying people should suffer, but the grieving and potential depression is a result of how much I loved that cat, so getting another cat would just be masking the thoughts and feelings for Phoebs, I consider pets to be family members too and we don't just get a new human when one dies, so why should we a pet?
        In time I MIGHT have another one, but I honestly couldn't say when, she was just so unique and the absolute no.1 best thing to happen in the past couple of decades, literally every vet nurse that met her loved her and we found out that the vet that euthanized her actually didn't charge us for the call-out, we don't legit know why but she even said how she'd never seen a cat as calm and chilled as...    less
